How to refer a dispute

Any party to a dispute can refer the dispute to the African Commercial Dispute Settlement Centre (ACDSC).  A referral can be submitted in any of the following 4 ways.

  1. Complete the electronic referral form on the Dispute Settlement page and click on “submit”.
  2. Download the referral form and fax the completed form to 086 231 7492, or email it to disputesettlement@capechamber.co.za
  3. Call the ACDSC helpline on 021 402 4352.  You will be assisted in submitting a referral.
  4. Visit the Cape Chamber of Commerce – 2nd floor, Cape Chamber House, 19 Louis Gradner Street, Foreshore, Cape Town.
    Please note the ACDSC offices hours are:  Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 16:30

Once the referral has been submitted the referring party will receive an email. Please read that email carefully and follow the instructions. The email will serve as a verification of your email address. You will be asked to click on the link provided in the email message. This link will take you to a page where you can choose a password for logging onto the case management system.
